Our Story & Expertise
Fertspread caters for its customers' entire fertiliser program by offering an end-to-end service, ensuring reliability and accuracy from sale through to application.
Fertspread is strategically based in the NSW Southern Tablelands on the Hume Highway, close to Gunning. We service a large and diverse area from Cooma in the south, the Hunter Valley in the north and west as far as Cootamundra and Young.
For over 30 years, Fertspread has been operating as an independent specialist supplier and spreader of bulk fertilisers and soil ameliorants to agriculture. Fertspread's bulk transport vehicles, spreading equipment and expertise are of the highest standards.
Product Supply
Fertspread have access to bulk fertiliser and soil ameliorant products, including chemical, organic and alternative products. Fertspread can supply single superphosphate, urea and other blends of NPKS. Fertspread also have access to trace elements, soil ameliorants (gypsum, lime and Agri-Ash), animal manures such as fowl manure and pig manure, as well as organic composts such as FOGO (food organics and garden organics) composts.
Transport and Delivery
Fertspread ensures timely, efficient and safe delivery of the product. Between Fertspread's bulk transport vehicles and large network of reliable subcontractors, the company can ensure delivery is in line with our customers schedule, the weather and spreader availability.
Spreading
Fertspread is an industry leader in spreader technology. Fertspread currently operate 10 technologically advanced spreaders all with GPS guidance and computerised spreading systems to ensure spreading accuracy. Fertspread's Operators are Fertcare Accredited as required by the Fertcare Organisation status and spreaders are Accu-Spread tested.
Fertspread take WHS and compliance seriously. Fertspread's fleet is well maintained and its accredited workshop is on hand to assist with vehicle breakdowns.
Industry Recognition
Fertspread was the first company in Australia to be awarded Fertcare Organisation accreditation. We are also the recipient of the fertiliser industry's Kookaburra Award.
Fertspread are proud to be recognised by Icon Water in relation to the company's contributions to the Banksia Sustainability Gold Award 2020. Fertspread have worked with Icon Water to reuse Canberra's wastewater solids, as Agri-Ash, in agriculture. Effectively marketing the waste product as an agronomically beneficial soil ameliorant in local soil types as it has high liming and phosphorus values, as well as many trace elements.
